Great service and wonderful people, you just can't go wrong here! I have taken over 10 different vehicles to Ward Service Auto Repair over the years and I am always completely satisfied. -Tom A.

My relatives and I have taken our vehicles to Ward Service for several decades and have always been pleased. Yes, they have had a difficult time a couple of times in diagnosis of computer issues. But I have had more problems with the auto dealerships in diagnosing problems than I ever have had at Ward's. When my autos are new and under warranty I have to take them to the dealership for service. But when the warranty expires I always make a beeline back to my trusty mechanics, Ward Service Auto Repair in Monrovia.

I just had my 2000 Explorer checked and serviced for our trip to the Utah badlands (no paved roads) and Ward's did a thorough job in identifying problem areas that could cause breakdowns on the country roads. The Explorer has 90,000 miles on it and I expect at least another 100,000 miles to go. It has always been serviced by Ward's and still runs like a champ.

They are top notch in every category! -Don A.

We have used Ward Service for years. they are the only shop I will trust for major repairs and diagnostics. Jim Ward and his team have always been honest and given good advice on maintenance options. They have a great reputation that goes back to their shop in Pasadena. A true family business you can count on! -James C.

Ward Service Auto Repair in Monrovia is top notch. They are great people offering wonderful service at fair prices. No surprise there, just honest service with a warm smile. -Tom A.

The team at Ward Service has always been good to me and my family. I have left cars on their doorstep late at night only to find out they were able to repair it the very next day. All the time they advise when I should and shouldn't proceed with service if the change is unnecessary. When I brought in my daughter's car for a replacement shield under her car. I dropped the car off early, before they opened and had it back by lunchtime. The repair was quick and the price was fair. This is the only automotive repair shop I recommend to friends and family. They are always friendly and fair. -Brian T.

I love Ward Service Auto Repair!  We've taken all our cars there for over 15 years before I got a new car and had to service it at the dealership. I totally trust those guys, have never had an unpleasant experience, and would send anyone there for auto maintenance needs. -Katarina W.

World Class Service! I have had several opportunities to have my car serviced at Ward Service. What I love most about Ward Service is that I can trust them. They are up front about the costs and estimates. One time they even rented a car for me while they worked on my Honda 2002, the rental was taken care of in less then thirty minutes. Every time I speak to Jim Ward, I know he is telling me what I need to know and giving me good alternatives. One time, Jim explained that given the years and mileage, he recommended that if it was his vehicle, he wouldn't put anymore into this one and that it was probably time for a new one, if I was in the market for one. That type of honesty is someone I can trust with all of my vehicles. -Mitch G.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ward Service Auto Repair.

During my last scheduled maintenance with the Lexus dealer, I was advised that I need a new water pump. At the dealership, they quoted me $1,059. I decided I needed to shop around for a better outcome than over $1,000. Out of the five auto repair shops I called, Ward Service was the one who answered my questions the most thoroughly. I spoke directly with the owner, Jim Ward, not only did he answer my questions extremely thoroughly, but he asked me questions, trying to assess the situation in order to give me the right information I needed. One of the things I like about dealing with Jim was that his service and recommendations are not motivated by revenue.  We share the same business philosophy, which is "have your customers' best interest at heart and the money will follow."

After the initial inspection, Jim walked me over personally to have me take a look for myself. He pointed out to a dime-sized drop of coolant that had dried, which is about all he could find during his inspection. It didn't seem much of a leak to me. Jim agreed. He explained it may not be a leak, but did not dismiss the possibility of it either. He advised me to monitor the reservoir levels, just to be on the safe side. In the end, he recommended against the repair, saying that there was simply not enough evidence to reasonably conclude the work was necessary. After considering all the information he had given to me, I agreed with the assessment. I pulled out my wallet, fully prepared to pay Jim for his time. I probably took up more than an hour, between all my questions and his mechanic's inspections. I asked him how much I owed him for his time and he said, "You don't owe me anything."

Wow! Thanks again, Jim.  You're one of the good guys. -Garrick S.
