We have been taking our cars to Ward's Auto Service for some time.  Repairs are fully explained and a estimate is given at the time you bring in your car.  If there is something else discovered, they will call you and explain any additional problem to get the consent to go ahead with the work.  This team is always friendly and provides honest service.
